I feel that way with most social media! Some writers say social media is the best thing to happen to introverts, because we can interact while being alone physically, but it doesn’t help me – I’m the same online as off. Can’t stand Twitter, because brevity is not my strong point, and I’m afraid of bullies (dealt with enough in real life in school, thanks). I like Facebook Groups, but that’s all. Too much politics and nastiness otherwise. The one social media I do like? Blogs! Maybe because they provide the deeper interaction we introverts thrive on?
btw, as a writer of time-travel romance, I’m glad to have had the opportunity to get to “know” you virtually! We writers share a lot of the same concerns, even if what we write is vastly different!
