No matter where you are in the process of writing or editing your manuscript, and even if you haven’t yet started on it, you’ll have my professional support and gentle guidance to make your memoir or family history the best it can be from project start to finish.

I edit manuscripts, coach clients in their creative, life story and family history writing endeavors, and I also work with teens to strengthen their writing skills.
Take a look at some of the projects I’ve worked on with my clients.
If you haven’t written anything yet, don’t fret!
I will be honored to help you get started on your memoir or family history, starting with short pieces that won’t overwhelm you.
Our work together begins when you:
1. Contact me and let me know:
- what you want to write
- what you’ve written so far
- what you’d like to accomplish with your memoir or family history
2. Send me a sample.
A few pages from the middle of your manuscript will suffice to reveal what’s actually holding your writing back—things most authors aren’t aware of.
If you can, provide the word count as well. This is helpful for me to determine a fee estimate
3. Calculating your investment.
I’ll estimate a fee based on the amount of work to be done, the length of your manuscript, and the deadline we set.
There is an initial 50% deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid upon completion of the project. I’ll keep you apprised of hours as we go along.
4. Sign your agreement.
I will draw up a contract outlining everything we agree to, including timelines, deadlines, and payment arrangements. After signing, it’ll be time to dive into your work!
